While Creative Cavern policies are specific to each offering, they also hold participants and teachers accountable in this collaborative, creative, and educational exchange.

PAYMENT POLICIES

We understand the fickle nature of money and believe in its energetic flow. We are amenable to payment plans as well as pay-what-you-can scenarios to support participant's unique financial situations. Please let us know if cost is a barrier and we can negotiate payments before the class, workshop, or retreat begins.

Otherwise, payment in full confirms your registration and guarantees your spot in the class/workshop/retreat. We prefer e-transfer payments, but will also take cash if that payment is made to one of us before the class/workshop/retreat begins.

The e-transfer email is: shieldsvanessa@gmail.com

There will be NO REFUNDS if a participant misses a class, cancels, or doesn't show for workshop or retreat. There will be NO PARTIAL OR FULL REFUNDS if a participant is unable to complete an offering that’s already started.

We will, however, offer a full refund due to extenuating circumstances on a case-by-case basis. These matters must be communicated to us as soon as possible so that we can open up any vacancy to another participant and/or adjust our supplies and food expenditures accordingly.

CONDUCT & BEHAVIOUR

We believe that we are all fully accountable for our words and actions. It is with compassionate intention that we create a safe, kind, generous, professional, and collectively generated space for each of our offerings. We are committed to working with participants at the beginning of each gathering to create this positive space, and will continue to honour the sacredness of this space for all. Participants are requested to respect the boundaries set in the policies for each offering.

With respect to feedback forums and any offering that includes a feedback or critique element, each of us is responsible for our emotional health and wellbeing. We do our best to notify for trigger-warnings. Writers are responsible for their own emotional navigation, which includes excusing themselves from the class or workshop if they feel it’s necessary to attend to their needs.

Aggressive behaviour and language will not be tolerated. If this occurs, the participant in question will be asked to leave. This policy extends beyond the teaching spaces and into email, text, and face-to-face communication with other participants and instructors.
