Cassandra (“Cassie”) Caverhill is a Canadian-American poet, editor, and creative writing instructor. She is the author of the chapbook Mayflies (Finishing Line Press, 2020) and a winner of the AWP Intro Journals Award. Her work has most recently appeared in The Bear River Review, Paragraph Planet, Six Sentences, Bottle Rocket, Pagination, The Malahat Review, and Short Reads. She’s a graduate of Bowling Green State University’s MFA program in poetry and is a prose reader for The Chestnut Review.
Cassandra also earned a certificate in editing from the University of Chicago and an honours BA in drama and communication studies from the University of Windsor. She’s an avid music collector and concert-goer who cut her teeth programming for radio, interviewing bands, and writing record reviews. A karaoke and cycling enthusiast, Cassandra lives and teaches in the borderlands of Windsor, Ontario.
