It’s been forever and a day since I last posted news here and I’m excited to share that this fall I’ll be leading some creative writing courses with the City of Windsor at Forest Glade Community Centre.

The city is offering two different class segments: one from September 11 to October 23 and another from October 20 to December 11.

Participants are requested to be sixteen years of age or older to attend and must be a Windsor resident to enroll. Online registration begins August 22 at 9 a.m. There is a cap of 15 students per segment.

Here’s the course description:

This class focuses on contemplative reading as well as prompts for generating micro memoir, flash fiction, poetry and prose that will turn seemingly mundane moments pulled from life into expressions of art. We will also collaborate and share work drafted in class, participating in informal critiques to learn what resonates with readers. First-time writers and experienced authors welcome.
